Hills Network Rules

The short version: play fair, be decent, ask first.

These rules apply across all Hills gamemodes. They exist so the network stays fair and worth logging into, nothing more. Staff handle every situation case by case and use judgment, so an honest mistake is usually forgiven. Playing on Hills means you agree to these rules. They change when the network changes, so check back once in a while.

01 · Fair play

Cheating and unfair advantages

  • Hacked or ghost clients, and any mod that gives you an advantage over other players, are banned.
  • We keep an allowed-mods list. Clients like Lunar, Badlion, and Labymod are fine. Anything not on the list, ask in a ticket before you launch with it. "I didn't know" will not save an appeal, a quick question will.
  • Auto-clickers, macros, and any input automation lead to an immediate punishment. If software is clicking for you, the skill is not yours.
  • No ping spoofing, lag switching, or anything else that manipulates your connection for an advantage.
  • No multi-version or proxy mods to connect on versions Hills does not support, and no emulators, mobile launchers, or hardware tricks that bypass our anti-cheat.
  • Found a bug or glitch? Report it in a ticket right away. Abusing one, including freezing your client to gain an advantage, carries a strict punishment. Reporting is welcome, farming it quietly is not.
  • No alt boosting or stat boosting. Win-farming, AFK farming, or padding your stats with alternate accounts can get your statistics fully reset, and resets are never reversed. We also do not move or transfer stats between accounts, so do not ask.
  • During clan wars, cross-teaming to sabotage a clan or feed kills for points falls under stat boosting and is punished the same way.
  • Do not run endlessly or camp purely to avoid fights. The modes are there to be played.
  • Do not interrupt a 1v1 in FFA, Neth FFA, DiaFFA, or Bridge FFA to steal the kill. Targeting players and free-hitting at spawn is allowed. Third-partying someone's duel is not, and we only punish it with clear video evidence showing the duel from the start.

02 · Your account

Account responsibility and punishment evasion

  • Everything done on your account counts as done by you. Sharing your account is your choice and your risk.
  • Bypassing a mute or ban on an alt gets the alt punished too and adds time to your main. Keep doing it and it becomes an IP-ban.

03 · Chat and conduct

Player behavior and chat

  • No hate speech or discrimination of any kind. Nothing aimed at race, religion, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, or background. Slurs get you muted, no discussion.
  • Do not try to slip past the chat filter with symbols, spacing, or creative spelling. It counts exactly the same as typing the word.
  • No harassment or bullying, and no sexual harassment of anyone, ever.
  • Death threats, self-harm encouragement, doxxing threats, and DDoS threats are punished strictly even when you call them a joke. They never read as jokes on our end.
  • No doxxing. Sharing or threatening to share someone's private information without their consent is one of the fastest ways off Hills permanently.
  • Keep every chat clean of NSFW, gore, .exe files, suspicious links, and anything malicious.
  • No spamming or flooding, with advertisements or anything else. Instant mute. After a clan war win, celebrating in chat is fine, just keep it short.
  • Never lie to staff, in tickets, reports, or appeals. It always makes your situation worse.
  • Keep drama out of public chat. Settle it in DMs or a ticket.

04 · Identity

Impersonation

  • Do not impersonate Hills staff, leadership, or known community players to spread rumors, invent accusations, or damage a reputation.
  • Trust only our official domains and accounts. If something claims to be Hills staff and feels off, verify through a ticket first.

05 · No ads

Advertising

#
  • No advertising other servers, Discords, social media, or goods and services anywhere on the network.
  • Your own YouTube or stream link is fine to share.
  • Advertising another Discord server removes you from ours.

06 · Name and skin

Usernames and skins

  • Keep your name and skin appropriate. Nothing offensive, hateful, or sexual.
  • No invisible or near-invisible skins to gain an advantage in fights.
  • Banned for a name or skin? Change it, appeal, and you are back. No drama.

07 · Evidence

Reports and evidence

  • Honest reports genuinely help us keep Hills clean, so thank you for them.
  • Faked or edited evidence, or knowingly reporting an innocent player, puts the punishment on you instead. Edited chats, fake accounts, doctored clips, invented stories, all of it.

08 · The fine print

Disclaimers

  • These rules overlap, so follow all of them, not just the ones you remember.
  • We update them whenever the network needs it.
  • Reading them is on you. "I didn't read the rules" has never worked as a defense and never will.
  • Staff decisions are final unless a higher-up rules otherwise.
  • Questions, suggestions, or disputes go through a ticket on our Discord. Punishment appeals go through our appeals site.
